انضم رجل أعمال هندي إلى سباق المتنافسين على شراء نادي ليفربول الإنجليزي، حسبما ذكرت صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أن الملياردير الهندي، موكيش أمباني والتي تبلغ ثروته الصافية حوالي 90 مليار جنيه إسترليني وصنفته فوربس باعتباره ثامن أغنى شخص في العالم، قد استفسر بالفعل عن نادي ليفربول.

لكن سيتعين عليه محاربة اهتمام الأطراف الأخرى من الشرق الأوسط والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، حيث تلقت مجموعة فينواي الأمريكية المالكة العديد من العروض المبدئية.

من المفهوم أنهم على استعداد للبيع مقابل 4 مليارات جنيه إسترليني وهناك رغبة أكبر في بيع نادي ميرسيسايد بالكامل.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن ذلك المبلغ لن يثني أمباني عن رغبته، وهو معجب كبير بالرياضة.

The BCCI, in a statement, has announced that the Karnataka fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun will replace him.Zaheer was rested for the recent tour of Zimbabwe in order to preserve himself for the busy season ahead. The Verdict: Good squad additions

While Fry and Tavernier may not necessarily be big-name players operating at the highest level, they could be handy signings by Leeds in the summer.

The former has been a defensive rock for Boro, making 158 appearances for the Championship side, while Tavernier has excelled in midfield, averaging two tackles per game in the league this season. Also, both are rated among their current club’s top six performers by WhoScored in 2021/22.

Bielsa has worked his magic with Championship players already, turning the likes of Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper and Luke Ayling into solid Premier League performers, so there is no reason why he can’t do the same again with a prospective swoop for the Middlesbrough duo.

The war of words between the BCCI and Lalit Modi continues unabated with the board president Shashank Manohar rejecting Modi’s contention that the governing council meeting on April 26 would be invalid. Manohar also sought to clarify the status of N Srinivasan, the board secretary who also owns the Chennai franchise, which according to Modi was a conflict of interest.”It is his view point, everybody is entitled to their viewpoint,” Manohar told PTI, in response to Modi’s contention that the meeting was unauthorised. “It is not a question of [whether or not Srinivasan is an] owner. He is not calling the meeting as an owner of a team, and in the board’s constitution, the secretary is the convenor of all meetings.”Manohar stated there was no question of conflict of interest between Srinivasan’s dual roles of a BCCI functionary and an IPL team owner. “Whether there is conflict of interest is not an issue because Srinivasan, when this issue had cropped up, had sought the permission of Sharad Pawar, who was the president of the board then [when the first round of IPL team auctions was conducted in 2008].”Pawar had granted him permission to bid and it is not Mr. Srinivasan who was bidding, it was India Cements [Srinivasan’s company that owns the Chennai franchise] which was bidding and after his bid was accepted, it was confirmed by the general body,” Manohar said.Manohar said that while BCCI was aware of the extent of Srinivasan’s involvement in the IPL, the same was not true in Modi’s case. “Srinivasan was a declared bidder. If Modi and his relatives had a share in any of the franchises, he ought to have declared it at the meeting. I was not a member of governing council then. He ought to have told everybody,” Manohar said.Modi, who was in Dubai when the BCCI called for the meeting, had asked for it to be pushed to May 1, in order to compile his documents and prepare his defence. There is intense speculation that the governing council is set to oust Modi in Monday’s meeting, irrespective of whether he attends it.

– Conversei caso ele (Carille) precise, não querendo forçar uma situação, mas é que eu joguei ali e ele me perguntou. Mas joguei o Brasileiro do ano passado pelo Avaí pelos lados, e ele me viu assim. Pelo meio eu não sei se ele me viu. Não sou uma referência, jogo mais como um falso 9, tenho movimentação, então acho que poderia mudar as características. Mas isso é para ele decidir. Eu sempre fiz gols, mas nunca fui um 9 de referência, sempre fui de segundo atacante ou falso 9. No Avaí eu fiz gols jogando pelos lados. Eu sempre busco o gol, sou objetivo, mas sou sincero: joguei aberto. Se precisar, eu encaro. Mas nunca fui de fazer 30 gols num ano, mas onde eu passei fiz gols. Acho que posso ajudar onde o Carille achar melhor – disse Júnior Dutra.

– Quando o Carille conversou comigo pela primeira vez, não foi falado sobre a posição de centroavante. Se por um acaso ele precisar e ele achar que eu posso ajudar o time, vou dar meu melhor e as coisas vão fluir bem. Eu tenho o pensamento de jogar.
