“A gente espera que se não for o Gatito, que seja ele (Jefferson). Quem sabe? Pode até ser que volte antes. Esperamos que um dos dois, ou os dois, volte e ajude a gente ainda esse ano”. As palavras são de Flávio Tênius, preparador de goleiros do Botafogo, em entrevista à “Rádio Brasil” nesta sexta-feira.

O tom, como visto, não anima os torcedores, que aguardam as voltas de Gatito Fernández e Jefferson há algumas rodadas, sobretudo a do paraguaio, que era titular até lesionar o punho direito, no fim de abril, e que tem treinado com o grupo há algum tempo desde os recentes contratempos.

– O Gatito realmente teve duas oportunidades para voltar, mas na semana de treinamentos ele voltou a sentir dores no punho e deu uma regredida. A situação dele é a seguinte: foi liberado duas vezes pelo departamento médico, treinou de quarta a sábado muito bem, mas no domingo e segunda estava com uma queixa de dor. E aí a gente tem que voltar um passo, porque com dor não tem como treinar normalmente – disse Flávio, completando:

– Dia a dia a gente está analisando. Tem dia que coloca para treinar com o grupo, um trabalho que de repente não vai exigir muito, de bola parada, tático, para que não perca tanto essa condição de jogo. Não pode ultrapassar esse momento, como tem dor ainda temos que trabalhar a parte técnica com restrição. Acaba voltando ao departamento médico para tratamento, a gente fica em segundo plano. Parte técnica faz o máximo que dá, mas com restrições. Ele continua com a gente, mas volta para fazer fisioterapia para que a dor desapareça e ele volte a treinar normalmente.

E A SITUAÇÃO DE JEFFERSON?

– O Jefferson está com a gente há quase uma semana, treinando especificamente com treinador de goleiros, não com a equipe toda. Mas a evolução está muito boa, a gente espera que o mais rápido possível volte também. Ele está muito animado, e nós também em relação à recuperação. Está praticamente liberado, agora só recondicionar física e tecnicamente para estar apto a jogar. A gente espera que se não for o Gatito, que seja ele. Quem sabe? Pode até ser que volte antes. Esperamos que um dos dois, ou os dois, volte e ajude a gente ainda esse ano.

GAROTADA NA VITRINE

Há uma semana exatamente, Jefferson voltou acom luvas pela primeira vez após choque grave em divida com Lucas Paquetá, no clássico contra o Flamengo. Desde então, enquanto o ídolo de 35 anos encarava uma delicada recuperação e Gatito acelerava na fisioterapia, Saulo assumiu a meta.

Além de Saulo, que já acumula 16 jogos na temporada, Diego é outro jovem que já teve chances (duas) como titular – iniciou contra o Sport e o Bahia, em jogo de ida pelas oitavas da Sul-Americana. Ambos ainda não são unanimidade na torcida alvinegra.

– Com goleiros mais jovens há certa impaciência, colocam na conta deles algumas situações que eu não concordo. Com goleiro de mais nome, mais experiente, passa batido. Eles estão dando conta do recado totalmente. Falaram que ele (Saulo) falhou no jogo contra o São Paulo, eu não concordo nem de perto. Quem realmente conhece da posição, se olhar direitinho a jogada vai ver que ele ainda fez a defesa, a bola iria entrar direto, conseguiu uma defesa dificílima, a um metro dele, três jogadores passaram e furaram a cabeçada, ele reagiu e ainda conseguiu fazer a defesa.

– O Diego contra o Bahia lá, se aquela bola que tomou um gol de cabeça entra direto ninguém ia comentar nada. O cara cabeceou a um metro e meio dele, ele ainda reagiu, bateu na bola e por infelicidade ela foi para dentro do gol, mas podia ir para qualquer lugar. Foi uma defesa até boa de velocidade de reação. Pena que entrou e tomou o gol – finalizou o especialista da posição do Glorioso.

O próximo compromisso do Botafogo é o clássico contra o Vasco, nesta terça-feira, às 21h (de Brasília), pelo Brasileirão. A tendência é que Saulo permaneça como o goleiro titular da equipe de Zé Ricardo.

كانت البطولة تسمى في ذلك الوقت “دوري البحر الأبيض المتوسط”، لكن ظل الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم يرفض الاعتراف بها بحجة أنها بطولة لم تكن منظمة تحت إشرافه.

وبحسب بعض المصادر من نادي برشلونة لشبكة “ESPN” أن لجنة الذكريات التاريخية ستعد تقريرًا ستقدمه للنادي وعندها سيطالب مرة أخرى باحتساب اللقب في ذلك العام.

هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي يطلب فيها برشلونة بهذا اللقب حيث سبق وفعل لابورتا أيضًا نفس الأمر ولكن في عام 2009، لكن احتساب الاتحاد الإسباني قبل أيام لقب الكأس من نفس العام لصالح ليفانتي جعل النادي الكتالوني يفكر في المحاولة مرة أخرى.

كان ليفانتي يطالب دائمًا بهذا اللقب ولكن كان الرد هو الرفض من جانب الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم لنفس الحجة بأن البطولة لم تكن بتنظيمه ولكن الأمر اختلف الآن، واحتسبت البطولة لصالحهم يوم السبت الماضي.

وهنأ برشلونة منافسه ليفانتي على احتساب هذا اللقب، لكنه يرغب في احتساب لقب الدوري لصالحه في عام 1937 ويحظى بنفس الاهتمام من جانب الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم.

كان الاتحاد الكتالوني لكرة القدم هو المنظم لبطولة “دوري البحر الأبيض المتوسط” والتي شارك فيها 8 أندية وهي برشلونة، إسبانيول، فالنسيا، ليفانتي، خيمناستيك، جرانولرس وأتلتيك دي كاستيلون، مشاركة ريال مدريد في تلك البطولة كانت متوقعة ولكن بسبب أن العاصمة الإسبانية وقتها ظلت تحت سيطرة الحكومة الديمقراطية وقتها فلم يكن انضمامهم وتنظيمهم لبعض المباريات في البطولة أمر جيد.

عندما انتهت الحرب الأهلية في عام 1939، قررت الحكومة الجديدة للديكتاتور فرانسيسكو فرانكو عدم الاعتراف ببطولتي الدوري الإسباني والكأس في عام 1937، حتى سعى ليفانتي لاحتساب لقب الكأس بعد مرور 68 عامًا في عام 2005 ثم برشلونة بلقب الدوري في نفس العام.

في عام 2009، رفض الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم الاعتراف بلقبي الدوري والكأس وظل الأمر معلقًا حتى السبت الماضي عندما حصل ليفانتي على لقب الكأس وهو ما يسعى لابورتا لاستغلاله للحصول على البطولة لصالح برشلونة.

O custo de manter Felipe Melo vai além das frases de impacto que ganham eco nas arquibancadas. E o Palmeiras de Dudu, Fernando Prass, Willian e Moisés tem respaldo suficiente para colocar um ponto final nesta complexa relação.

David Hopps01-May-2012Yorkshire have made a shock announcement that Ajmal Shahzad can leave the county – only a week after their new coach, Jason Gillespie, praised him as “a fantastic bowler”.Yorkshire refused to explain the reasons for Shahzad’s abrupt request to leave but it seems inevitable that the club has become embroiled in the sort of stand-off with a disaffected player in which it has specialised throughout its history.Shahzad, who eight years ago became the first Yorkshire-born cricketer of Pakistani background to represent the county, has been periodically unsettled at Yorkshire, but the arrival of Gillespie had filled him with fresh resolve and optimism at the start of the season.Instead, Yorkshire have now announced: “Following discussions between YCCC and Ajmal Shahzad, it has been jointly agreed that in the best interests of his development, Ajmal will be given the option to play for another club either under a new contract or on loan for the rest of the season, in order to establish himself with a new county.”Somerset, who are in the market for a fast bowler on loan, are bound to be among the major suitors for a player whose 2011 season was wrecked by ankle trouble but who, at his best, remains on the fringe of the England set-up. Middlesex’s director of cricket, Angus Fraser, has also shown interest in the past. He regards himself as a genuine allrounder yet bats low in the order for Yorkshire and lost the new ball to Tim Bresnan, who was making a rare return from England duties, against Kent at Canterbury last week, and can expect to concede it once again when the Australia international Mitchell Starc arrives.He was also a player that Graves had in mind when he responded to Yorkshire’s relegation last season by terming some performances as “a disgrace.” Shahzad, who had bowled much of thre season with ankle trouble, and who neded an operation in the close season, felt the criticism was unwarranted.All this will have been discussed when Shahzad held emergency talks with Graves and Yorkshire’s coaching staff on Tuesday morning. Quite what occured for Yorkshire to allow him to leave now rather than simply rely on time to improve his mood is not entirely known. The conclusion seems to have been that his dissatisfaction has become disruptive and is unlikely to be easily reversed. It is a very Yorkshire response – perhaps on all sides – to be so implacable with the season still in its infancy.Shahzad, at 26, will be an attractive proposition. He has played one Test match for England, taking four wickets against Bangladesh at Old Trafford in June 2010. He has also played 11 ODIs and three Twenty20 internationals.

How big a deal is this for Star TV?
Indian cricket is the biggest property in the game. The frequency and consistency of the BCCI’s calendar is its biggest strength. It is a very important investment.Star TV does not have an exclusive sports channel. Where will Star telecast the matches?
The decision is that we will exploit [the rights] or we will broadcast in collaboration with ESPN STAR Sports* [ESS].The BCCI has always controlled production. Will the board continue to produce international matches?
Yes, the board will continue to produce matches. That does not mean it will hinder our approach. Somebody has to produce the cricket. It is a question of working along with them and I do not see any issues arising out of this. As for the question of allowing the BCCI to have an authority to appoint commentators, I cannot answer that at the moment. We have just made the deal. In any case, we will be taking such decisions in collaboration with ESPN STAR Sports, who are a lot more experienced in this regard.You are paying 40-odd crore per match. The bid almost defies the market situation currently. What did you have in mind when you worked out the figure?
Given the viewership that cricket has in this country we feel that the value that we have attributed to it [each match] justifies itself. Our confidence comes from the popularity of cricket. And we think as the reach of media grows in this country, the penetration and popularity will automatically grow.You also have to recover the money and in the recent past we have seen how Nimbus struggled to pay the BCCI its dues on time for various home series…
What Nimbus did or did not do is not something for us to talk about. Star is the most robust and the most dynamic media company in this country. We have a bigger reach than any other media company. We could not have built up that reach if I had not satisfied our viewers over a long period of time.Excessive intrusion of advertisements has been a major irritant for viewers in the past. How will you ensure it will not happen?
There are very clear norms for advertising in cricket, which the Indian board has laid out. Naturally, the rights holders have to follow the norms. Carberry went on to score an unbeaten 103 off 83 balls, with a six and 14 fours, as the visitors skated to victory with more than 11 overs to spare.Somerset had posted 212 for 9 after losing the toss, Nick Compton (81) and Jos Buttler (71) sharing a fourth-wicket stand of 121 and Dimitri Mascarenhas taking 2 for 17, bowling his eight overs straight through with the new ball.It never looked likely to be enough on a good batting pitch and Hampshire confidently made it three wins from as many Group B games with a convincing all-round performance.Mascarenhas had Somerset under pressure from the start, bowling with superb control from the River End and uprooting the off stump with similar deliveries to remove Craig Kieswetter and Peter Trego. When James Hildreth was caught at slip skying a top-edged pull off Chris Wood, the home side were 25 for 3 in the eighth over.Compton and Buttler were forced to show caution as they set about rebuilding the innings. Instead the first chance went begging as Carberry, on 1, was spilled by Compton diving to his left at point off Trego. It proved an expensive miss as Carberry and Adams started scoring as they liked. Adams hit two towering sixes off Peter Trego, managing to hit his own car with one of them.He was first to fifty off 42 balls before lofting a catch to mid-on off Craig Overton. Carberry reached his half-century off 40 deliveries, with seven fours, and the result was never in doubt. Just to make sure, James Vince cracked an effortless 44 not out after Adams’ dismissal and Carberry won the game with the straight six that took him to his century.
